Temporary staff are required from now until September / October

There are two Kennels Assistant posts of up to 18 hours each. Hours are flexible and arranged to suit. They will be over 7 days between 7:30 am & 6:00 pm including Sundays & Bank Holidays. Ability to do 7:30 am start is essential.

Regular duties will include feeding, cleaning, exercising, bathing, grooming and general day to day care of animals boarding with us. From time to time other requirements will include stable duties.

Applicants must be of smart but practical appearance, be efficient & thorough in maintaining a good standard of housekeeping and be punctual and reliable.

The positions/s may from time to time involve caring for employers own animals which are Great Danes and Horses, including mares & foals. Experience of  large breeds and/or horses an advantage but not essential. However, ability and/or experience in this field may lead to more permanent employment, as would be the ability to deal with customers, maintain accurate records  and take charge in owners absence.

Due to the early starts & weekend & bank holiday rotas, careful consideration must be given to how you would get to work.

An opportunity also exists for an experienced person to undertake clipping and grooming on a permanent self-employed basis. Excellent rewards are available to a motivated and enthusiastic person.
